Working hours: Monday & Tuesday: 08:30-16:30, Wednesday & Thursday: 08:00-16:30 & Friday's: 08:00-16:00.

Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a Goods in Operative with good IT abilities to join their dynamic team. As a Goods In Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operations. From receiving goods to loading and unloading, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and check all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
  • Carry out physical inspections and report any damaged or missing items
  • Enter relevant data into the system, maintaining accurate records
  • Sort and store goods in the designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods, using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment
  • Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to the relevant departments

Requirements:

  • Pre-employment checks will be required.
  • Previous experience in goods in operations, preferably in a logistics setting.
  • IT competency to accurately enter data and use warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
