As Compliance Manager, reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the firm operates within all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks. Your influence will help embed a strong culture of compliance throughout daily operations, ensuring both clients and employees feel confident in both ethical and professional standards. You will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, mitigating risks, and championing best practices across the firm.

• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures
• Ensure the firm adheres to AML, GDPR, and SRA regulations
• Provide expert guidance and training to teams across the business
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes and adapt policies proactively
• Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders

You are a proactive and strategic thinker with a strong background in compliance within the legal sector. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident in guiding teams through complex regulatory matters.

• Have experience as a Compliance Manager or within a compliance team in a law firm
• Possess in-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, including data protection, financial crime, and professional conduct rules
• Be skilled in identifying training needs and delivering effective compliance training
• Foster a culture of openness, ensuring employees feel comfortable raising concerns
• Have the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
