The role:

Thrive Education is proud to announce that we're supporting a fantastic school in Cheltenham with a Class Teaching position for the remainder of the academic year.

The role will involve delivering the national curriculum to class of Year 1 pupils.

The school

The school is two-form entry with very much, a family feel. At the heart of the community, the children achieve great things through high quality education, showcasing the school as a beacon of excellence.

The school has many opportunities for extra-curricular activities including choir, cross-country, music clubs, sporting activities and drama. There are also other opportunities for visits to expand childrens interests with a wide range of enrichment activities.

What the school are looking for:

- Someone who is genuinely passionate about teaching and learning.- A creative, inspirational class teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 and in particular, phonics.- Someone with high expectations of pupil achievement and progress, and of pupil behaviour.- Someone who will play an active part in all aspects of the school community.

Unfortunately, this role is not suitable for ECTs, as the school need a teacher with a few years experience.
