Job Title: Junior Quality Inspector
Location: Cheltenham
Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: 26,000 to 32,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, with an early finish at 12:30 PM on Fridays

Responsibilities:
- Conduct First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Identify and report any non-conformities or quality issues
- Collaborate with the Quality team to develop and implement improvement initiatives
- Conduct inspections using appropriate tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with internal and external audits as required
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in conducting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in an aerospace or precision engineering environment
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment
- Good problem-solving skills
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Experience with non-destructive testing methods
- Familiarity with statistical process control techniques
