About Us:D2M is a small but dynamic product design and development consultancy with a passion for turning ideas into reality. We specialise in bringing innovative concepts to life, working closely with our clients to take products from concept to production. Were looking for a talented and proactive individual to join our team and help manage the successful delivery of client projects.

The Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager who will play a vital role in managing new enquiries and ensuring our projects move smoothly through each stage of development. This role blends the responsibilities of an account manager, studio manager, and new business manager, requiring someone who is comfortable handling client interactions and ensuring that designers have everything they need to move projects forwards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling New Enquiries:Act as the first point of contact for new client enquiries, guiding them through our process, ensuring all necessary information is collected, and helping to qualify potential projects.
  • Proposal Follow-Up:Track proposals sent to potential clients, follow up to address any questions, and ensure they have everything they need to move forward.
  • Project Management:Oversee the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring they move forward efficiently, and support our designers by coordinating their activities.
  • Scheduling:Manage project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and help ensure designers understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Designer Support:Provide guidance and support to our design team, making sure they have all the information and resources needed to deliver projects successfully.

Who Were Looking For:

  • Proactive:You take responsibility for your tasks and actively look for ways to improve processes.
  • Keen to Learn:You have a growth mindset and are eager to learn about our industry and processes.
  • Great Communicator:Comfortable and confident on the phone, you enjoy speaking with clients and building relationships.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented:You have strong organisational skills and can manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with experience of CRM and project management software.
  • Experience:Prior experience in a project management, account management, or similar role, ideally within a design, product development, or creative environment, is preferred but not essential.
