Technical Account Coordinator required

Thatcher Associates are supporting a professional and growing construction outfit in their search for a Technical Maintenance Coordinator to join their Technical team team. This business is a dynamic and innovative company, with a focus on delivering high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors.

The Role:

We require a Technical Account Coordinator to support of our Technical Maintenance Department in supporting the documentation and coordination of key maintenance accounts, reporting and technical documentation.

Support all maintenance accounts and associated principal stakeholders including clients and subcontractors. Entrusted with the key responsibility to coordinate PPM works, PPM reports, quotes account visits, and assist with coordination of minor works projects (such as health checks, software updates and upgrades) for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and develop all client support and maintenance accounts
  • Develop relationships with maintenance clients
  • Schedule and coordinate PPM works and assist with coordination of minor works projects (such as health checks, software updates and upgrades) for clients
  • Assist with costing PPM works and maintenance works (materials, subcontractors and proposals to clients)
  • Assist with the creation of maintenance contracts and manage renewals.
  • Support the account with support from your line manager.
  • Oversee and assist with logging and administration of all incoming maintenance and BMS defects/works
  • Oversee the arrangement of subcontractors works and programmes including VAs and producing / reviewing / submitting RAMS.
  • Oversee the collation of Health check / PPM Reports and issue reports to clients and internal when required
  • Produce PPM Report’s and Quotes for PPM related activities.
  • Support PPM staff/engineers for area of responsibility delivering the operational requirements of the business
  • Coordinate maintenance works and administrative support where required and in line with their job specifications
  • Suppliers, subcontractors and others impacting on operational performance
  • Customers and clients as required to manage quality and delivery
  • Other support organisation for staff and direct report management

About You

  • Good knowledge and demonstrated ability in areas of coordination and support.
  • Good coordination and reporting skills
  • Coordination of subcontractors and client management ideally but not essential
  • Demonstratable experience of record keeping and administration of technical documentation
  • Must have UK work experience and be able to live and work in the UK

Key Skills

  • Able to work in a professional environment by demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical/engineering background or familiarity with technical systems (ideally but not essential)
  • The role would suit people from a project scheduling, coordinating, small works or similar background.
