Position: European Road Freight Team Leader
Location: Cheltenham
Salary 32,000 (Negotiable)
Hours: 9:00 -17:30pm Mon - Fri

Due to a recent international promotion, we are now seeking an experienced European Road Freight Team Leader to help support, lead and develop a team of road freight operators.
European Road Freight Team Leader Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of operational staff to oversee the efficient running of the European Operations department on a day-to-day basis
- Oversee all aspects of freight operations for the branch, including cargo booking, routing, tracking, documentation, Customs clearance and compliance with industry regulations
- Plan weekly export trailers efficiently to maximise trailer payloads
- Develop key service relationships with customers, colleagues and overseas agents to provide efficient and effective service
- Ensure good internal communication between key departments, Customs, Transport, Warehouse to ensure efficient loading & transport of customer goods
- Resolving and managing customer/agent queries courteously and efficiently
- Working with the team to align and streamline internal processes
