Yard Assistant - De-Pollution Zone salary £12.50Location: Cheltenham/GloucesterHours of work:8.30am - 5pm Mon - Thurs 8.00am - 4pm Friday
Our client a trusted name in vehicle recycling, is seeking a hardworking Yard Assistant to join their De-Pollution Zone. This role involves working with end-of-life vehicles to ensure they are safely processed and prepared for recycling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draining fluids from vehicles in preparation for crushing.
- Preparation of vehicles for the crushing process, including tapping and tying.
- Supporting general yard operations and maintaining a safe, tidy work environment.
- Operating tools and equipment in line with safety standards.
About You:
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a similar role or within the automotive industry is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Team player with a commitment to health and safety.
