Hays is working with a local co-ed, mainstream secondary school, located in Cheltenham, in seeking an experienced and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their hard-working team. You will be responsible for teaching maths to students aged 11-16, following the national curriculum for KS 3 + 4 and preparing them for GCSE exams. Your new role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of year groups, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. You will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and assessment of the Maths curriculum, ensuring that students are supported to achieve their full potential. This role is a full-time, ongoing position, working 5 days a week, starting ASAP.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You must be a qualified Maths Teacher with a good understanding of the UK national curriculum.
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 is essential.
  • You will have a passion for the subject and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills, along with a proactive approach to teaching, are key.
  • A commitment to student development and a positive, enthusiastic attitude are also crucial.
