Exciting Opportunity for a PE Teacher in Cheltenham!

Tradewind Recruitment is thrilled to introduce an extraordinary opening for a highly skilled PE teacher to become part of a well-regarded secondary school in Cheltenham. This position is set to commence in January 2025 to at least in July 2025

Role Responsibilities:

  • Inspire a love for physical activity and healthy lifestyles by delivering top-notch PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Craft and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse range of student needs and abilities, employing a variety of teaching strategies.
  • Foster active participation and cultivate positive attitudes towards physical education and personal well-being.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback, supporting their advancement and development.
  • Facilitate effective communication with parents/guardians through parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or comparable teaching qualifications is preferred; however, we will consider suitably experienced Sports Coaches.
  • Specialisation or substantial experience in teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A robust understanding of PE, accompanied by a fervour for endorsing physical well-being and personal development.
  • Exceptional classroom management abilities, fostering an all-encompassing and supportive learning environment.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.

Pay:

The daily remuneration for this position is competitive, aligned with the pay scale, and open to negotiation, based on your qualifications and experience. The minimum daily rate is £140 - £250 PAYE.
