SEN HLTA
- Special school
- Full-time or Part-time
- Immediate start
- Range of different classes
- Leading pre-planned lessons
I'm working on behalf of a lovely special school in Cheltenham that are looking for an HLTA to join the team in becoming one of their all rounders! The school looks after students aged 4-16 with a wide range of special needs & disabilities that will often be fairly complex needs.
The school are approaching a busy time of the year so have decided that they need an additional member of staff that is able to support across the school on a long-term basis.
The role
Being an SEN HLTA revolves heavily around leading pre-planned lessons wherever there is a gap across the school. Due to the flexibility of the role it is essential that you are confident in adapting to different environments and working with different ages.
You must possess strong classroom management as well as a strong knowledge of SEN. Experience wise, QTS is not required but you must have worked with SEN children before. The school are open to a full-time or part-time member of staff.
