A great opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager to join a leading construction product distributor located in Cheltenham. The company supply a wide range of products to the construction industry and due to continuous growth, require an experienced Sales Manager / Branch Manager to join their team.

Branch Manager Position Remuneration

Branch Manager Position Overview

  • Oversee the general management duties across the branch/site;
  • Build branch sales and profits whilst developing new channels and routes to market;
  • Working with the Production supervisor, organise and manage production;
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers to include face to face meetings, with a view to increasing opportunities and enhancing existing margins;
  • Ensure our customers receive an excellent service;
  • Train, develop, support and motivate the team;
  • Run an efficient and effective operation by managing the stock and properly utilising vehicles;
  • Attend Management meetings as directed;
  • Ensure that all legal, regulatory and statutory obligations are met within own area of responsibility including Health and Safety;
  • Participate in training as required and build on own professional development and expertise;

Branch Manager Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in buying and selling products
  • High quality communication skills, verbal and written
  • Managing, developing, and supporting a team
  • Understand and meet customer requirements
  • Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Proven experience in project management
