Job Summary:

The Domiciliary Care Worker provides personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. The Domiciliary Care Worker is responsible for delivering compassionate care that meets the unique needs of each client, enabling them to live comfortably and safely in their own environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personal Care:

    • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
    • Support clients with mobility, helping them move safely around their home and use mobility aids when necessary.
    • Assist with feeding and ensure clients maintain proper nutrition and hydration.
  2. Daily Living Assistance:

    • Help clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
    • Assist with shopping, running errands, and managing household supplies.
    • Support clients in managing their medications, including reminders and administration under guidance.
  3. Companionship and Emotional Support:

    • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
    • Offer emotional support and reassurance, helping clients to feel valued and connected.
    • Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities where possible.
  4. Health and Safety:

    • Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

    • Assist clients in following care plans as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  5. Documentation and Communication:

Qualifications:
