Your new companyWe are recruiting for a well-established organisation that specialises in finding suitable accommodation for vulnerable adults, including those with learning disabilities. This is a temporary-to-permanent role, ideal for experienced candidates looking for long-term employment within a supportive and dynamic team.

Your new roleAs a Tenancy Officer, you will be covering a patch across Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, and South Wales. This hybrid role involves working both in the field and remotely. You will spend 4 days a week visiting properties across the patch, engaging with tenants and support teams, and 1 day a week working from home or from the office, depending on your location.In this role, you will be supporting vulnerable adults with their tenancy arrangements and working closely with care providers on-site to address issues related to property maintenance, anti-social behaviour (ASB), finance, and the general condition of properties. You will ensure the efficient delivery of housing management services, including overseeing voids and lettings paperwork, conducting property inspections, managing rent and service charge arrears, and addressing any tenancy breaches.You will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships with tenants, care providers, and local partners, ensuring the smooth running of properties and the well-being of residents.Key Responsibilities* Visit properties across your designated patch to manage tenancy issues and support residents, collaborating with care provider teams to resolve any maintenance, ASB, * financial, or property condition concerns.* Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of responsive repairs and high standards of property upkeep.* Conduct property inspections and ensure homes are ready for new tenants.* Manage void properties and lettings paperwork, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.* Provide administrative support for Housing Benefit applications.* Act as the main point of contact for tenants, care providers, and local partners, fostering strong relationships.Working Hours and Benefits* Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.* Competitive hourly rate of £14.56.* 32 days of annual leave (paid).* Hybrid working model with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote.What you'll need to succeed* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business cover is essential, as this role involves regular travel across the Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, and South Wales areas.* An Enhanced DBS is required.* Preferably, you will have a CIH qualification or 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.* Strong time management, communication, problem-solving, and people skills.* Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
