We are recruiting for a Care Manager for a Domiciliary Care service in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, The company is a privately owned domiciliary care agency that provides support to older people who live in their own homein areas ofCheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Gloucester. The current owner holds the CQC registration and is looking to stepaside to concentrate on developing other areas of the business and hand over to a new Care Manager.

This role would suit someone living local to Cheltenham, and within easy access to Tewkesbury, Stroud, Gloucester.Any connections to these local authoritieswould be an advantage as the development of business and service delivery is one of the main responsibilities associatedwith this role.

We are interested in speaking to candidates experienced in domiciliary care/live-in care/ home care, with strong leadership and good relationship building skills, who are motivated and enthusiastic about introducing new ways of working in line with the new CQC guidelines, who can grow and develop the business in a safe environment for all.

Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the safe growth and quality of the business, and to lead and support the recruitment, training and development of a strong staff team. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable and experienced in the relevant policies to comply with current legislation, and able to build close working relations with local authorities, CQC and other related health professionals. You will be instrumental in improving service delivery, marketing and promoting the company, branch and its services to ensure maximum hours and contracts won.

Successful candidates will hold NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and ready to hold CQC registration for the branch.
