Graduate FPGA EngineerLocation: Cheltenham (On-site)Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Are you a recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for digital hardware and embedded systems? We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic Graduate FPGA Engineer to join our growing team in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative, hands-on environment, contributing to real-world engineering projects from day one.

Requirements:
  • A 2:1 or above (ideally First-Class) in an engineering, computer science, or mathematics discipline

  • Exposure to VHDL and/or Verilog

  • A collaborative mindset - comfortable working closely within a small, agile team

  • Hands-on experience or familiarity with hardware platforms

  • Willingness and ability to quickly pick up new skills, tools, and languages

Desirable Skills (not essential - we’ll help you grow here):
  • Familiarity with Xilinx development tools and high-speed digital design

  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

  • Interest in Software Defined Radio (SDR)

  • Embedded C/C++ development experience

  • Scripting skills in Tcl and/or Python

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git or SVN)

  • An understanding of analogue and digital circuit design principles
