Software Verification Lead
12 Month Contract
Gloucestershire

We are looking for a Software Verification engineer to join us on a 12-month contract and be responsible for Software Verification activities such as authoring test specification, test scripts and performing unit testing using tool suite.

Day to day you'll be -
  • Technical specifications and interfaces for Electrical Power Distribution System, including review and evaluation of legacy artefacts
  • Provide technical Support in hardware and software integration for the Electrical Power Distribution System Support in design reviews collaborating with other stakeholders (Certification, Safety, Quality) to realise project commitments.
  • Work in an agile environment using SCRUM framework inclusive of daily stand up, planning and retrospective sessions.

Experience we are looking for-
  • Experience of working on DO178
  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols and related tools such as CAN, RS485, I2C, SPI, ARINC429, Canalyser/bus-master, Raven and FireSpy
  • Experience with driver design of CAN, SPI and RS485
  • Experience in C/C++ programming for embedded devices and knowledge of assemble language
  • Good knowledge of microcontroller and its functional architecture such as NXP 32 bit. Hands-on experience of using SDE (such as S32 design studio)
  • Strong debugging skills and knowledge of using debugger such as Lauterbach and trace32 scripting
  • Hands-on experience of using low voltage lab equipment's such as oscilloscope, potentiometer etc.
