SEN Teaching Assistant

TeachMatch is partnering with many fantastic schools to recruit an empathetic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant.
About the Role:You will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing both academic and emotional support within the classroom. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a compassionate team and help create an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with SEN in one-to-one or small group settings
- Help with the delivery of tailored learning plans and activities
- Support the emotional and social development of students
- Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to ensure inclusive learning for all students
- Foster independence and confidence in students through targeted support
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs
- Patience, understanding, and strong communication skills
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential
- A willingness to grow and develop professionally
