SEN Teaching Assistant

TeachMatch is partnering with many fantastic schools to recruit an empathetic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant.

About the Role:You will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing both academic and emotional support within the classroom. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a compassionate team and help create an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with SEN in one-to-one or small group settings
  • Help with the delivery of tailored learning plans and activities
  • Support the emotional and social development of students
  • Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to ensure inclusive learning for all students
  • Foster independence and confidence in students through targeted support

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Patience, understanding, and strong communication skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching
  • Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential
