Long - Term Teachers are working with an alternative provision based in Cheltenham, who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified teacher to join them on a part time, permanent basis. You will be expected to plan and deliver maths and science lessons to students in Key stage 4, who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school. The work is challenging but incredibly rewarding as you will be a part of helping young people move successfully into the next step of their education journey…
You will be contracted to work 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, term time only. Commencing in January, you will begin on a temporary basis and then progress into a permanent placement once you have passed probation.
The headteacher is booking for a caring, dedicated teacher, who has the confidence to manage behaviours in the classroom. You must be passionate about educating others and be flexible to be able to plan and deliver lessons around their needs. Maths and Science will be your main subjects that you will be teaching, so you must have had previous experience, whether this is either a mainstream or specialist setting.
