Job Title:            3x Surveyor (Voids Surveyor, Stock Condition Surveyor and Building Surveyor)  Type:                  Temporary Contracts (3-6 months) Location:           Cheltenham  Hourly Rate:      £28 - £35 Hours:                Full time - 37 per week (Monday-Friday)  BRC are working with a housing association in Cheltenham who are looking to take on 3 Surveyors within their Property Services team.  Role 1 – Voids Surveyor (6 months) all site based Role 2 – Stock Condition Surveyor (3-6 months) all site based – carrying out surveys in tenanted properties Role 3 – *Building Surveyor (3-6 months) hybris working   *The purpose of this role is to manage an external wall installation project on site overseeing the progress of the works and liaising with the contractor. The project begins in February, and they are looking for someone to start ASAP.   They are looking for someone who has experience of administering contracts.    The successful candidates will have experience/qualifications in:
  • Relevant HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in a building/construction related subject
  • Experience of working within the social housing sector (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience of Health & Safety and compliance in social housing
  • Experience of working with residents
  • Strong Maintenance and Repair skills background
  • Experience of engaging and managing contractors
  • A good working knowledge of landlord health and safety and compliance requirements 
  Additional Information:
  • Equipment will be provided
  • Must be available immediately or to start within 1 week
  • Must have a current driving licence and vehicle to use for the role
