PMO Manager
Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid)
Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 base salary plus £9,500 car allowance and bonus.
VIQU have partnered with a leading FTSE 100 company who are undergoing a large ERP implementation/transformation, because of this, they are recruiting for a PMO manager to join their new PMO team. This role will have six direct reports, with plans to grow the PMO team further in the future.
The ideal candidate must have hands on PMO experience, previously managed a team and holds previous experience with a large scale ERP implementation and have managed a Systems Intergrator
Duties of the PMO Manager:
- To manage the global PMO and delivery team to deliver a range of projects and programmes, including a large scale ERP implementation.
- Manage the processes, standards and compliance for all global projects.
- Manage an external Systems Integrator (SI) to deliver complex projects.
- Coach and develop the PMO team, helping to support junior and mid level team members.
- Take a hands on approach, writing PMO reports, steer packs, risk checking, check workstream reports and review portfolio leads.
- Help to continuously improve methods, standards and processes.
- Ensure KPI’s are delivered upon.
Requirements of the PMO Manager:
- At least 8 years of experience in a global PMO function, with 4+ years of experience managing a team.
- Previous experience delivering a global ERP implementation and digital transformations.
- Experience of working within a large scale, global company.
- Previously managed an external Systems Integrator (SI) to deliver complex projects.
- Happy to take a hands on role whilst also managing a team.
- Hold relevant PMO qualifications (Eg APMG, PMI).
- Ability to implement PMO processes across organisations.
- Ability to create reports and presentations, and deliver upon these.
