We are looking for a Transport Operations Coordinator to join our well-established team in Cheltenham, earning £27,367 per annum, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30. This role is ideal for someone organised and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for transport operations. You'll play a key role in managing daily transport activities, supporting drivers, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:- Plan and manage daily transport operations, including route planning, driver scheduling, and compliance checks to ensure smooth service.- Use TruTac and PARIS software to track driver performance, monitor telematics data, and maintain accurate records.- Conduct vehicle inspections, track odometer readings, and coordinate maintenance schedules to keep the fleet in top condition.- Assist with driver inductions, health & safety training, and accident/incident investigations as required.- Work closely with other departments to streamline order processing, resolve transport-related issues, and maintain high service levels.- Ensure all drivers comply with industry regulations, maintain uniforms, and uphold company standards.To be successful:- Experience in a transport or logistics environment (preferred but not essential).- Good knowledge of driver hours & Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).- Good IT skills, with experience using transport management software being an advantage.- Reliable, punctual, and goal-oriented, with a commitment to achieving KPIs.If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, work with a great team, and grow your career, we'd love to hear from you!For more details, contact Josie at Pertemps Gloucester on or send your CV to
