Excellent opportunity for a Composite Engineer to work for an award winning engineering business, in a technically interesting and varied Research role.

This business of highly specialised Engineers and Researchers are developing new and highly technical materials for manufacturing within a number of sectors. As they continue to develop their product range, they are seeking a Research Engineer to join their highly talented engineering team.

This role is split into 3 parts. The first part is dealing with the testing and validation to confirm the performance of their bespoke composite materials produced and then developing technical best use guides. The next part is dealing with enhancing product quality from streamlining the manufacturing to make the process more efficient. The final part of this role is to liaise with the customers getting technical feedback and analysis of our the composite materials performance when being used and then feeding this back for process improvements.

This role would suit an engineer with a background in Materials Science/Composites, looking to specialise their technical capabilities and work for a highly niche and technical business.

THE ROLE:
*Testing of fibre composites to assess material conformance
*Streamlining manufacturing processes to enhance product quality
*Customer technical feedback and analysis of the materials

THE PERSON:
*Background in Fibre Composites is a must
*Bachelor's Degree - any Engineering/Materials Science/Composites discipline
*Understanding of the manufacturing processes behind composites
*Testing & Data Analysis of materials
