An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward thinking, design, distribution and installation company specializing in steel floor decking systems throughout the United Kingdom. Operating out of modern offices in Chepstow, the company is looking to enhance the Sales and Estimating team with the addition of a new Estimator.

Full in-house training will be provided.

Working Hours

  • Monday 8:30am - 5pm
  • Tuesday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
  • Friday 8am - 3pm

Salary and Benefits

  • £23,795.20 per annum

The successful candidate will be working in a team of three, with the main duties as follows: -

  • Analysing tender documents for a wide variety of projects.
  • Measuring drawings, using an estimating software program and producing a schedule of quantities.
  • Liaising with external suppliers to obtain material costs.
  • Preparing cost estimates.
  • Producing design calculations using a technical software program.

Essential skills required for the role: -

  • Good computing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Excel.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy (vital).
  • Good organisation skills - being able to work methodically and prioritise workload are also essential.
  • A willingness to actively liaise with other members of staff and customers when necessary.
