Sales Support Administrator - Chepstow - £25,000 per annum

Acorn by Synergie is looking for a candidate for their client who specialise in the supply and installation of pallet racking, shelving systems, mezzanine floors and partitioning for commercial and industrial use. This vacancy has opened up due to a promotion in the company.

Description of Role

Provide Sales Support for specific Sales Enquiries / orders. Capabilities in problem solving, effective communication, influencing, and negotiation are key to for this role and will allow those customer/working relationships to grow.

Job Specification

  • Qualifying inbound leads and converting them from marketing qualified to sales qualified.
  • Targeting prospects who have been identified within customer segments, qualifying them to a sales ready state.
  • Setting up new customer accounts
  • Maintain commercial awareness of our key markets, competitor products, pricing and service offerings, and review regularly with key stakeholders with a view to ensuring our offer/range meets our clients demands
  • Support the Sales Coordinator and Sales Account Managers in achievement of their sales objectives
  • Ensuring that design details and materials specification can be readily used as part of the Contract process and procedures.
  • Carry out consistent checking to ensure integrity and quality of specification
  • Develop detailed knowledge of market place, technology and developments within the Storage & Materials Handling Industry.
  • Costs within budget and specification and give optimum opportunity to secure order
  • Dealing with and processing small order/catalogue enquiries/orders in response to customer emails/telephone enquiries.
  • Supporting the sales function to generate quotes for inspections and repairs
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to book in dates for inspections and diarising accordingly
  • Maintain a close working relationship with Customers & Suppliers.
  • Demonstrate appropriate awareness of design and manufacturing capabilities and processes within our supply chain network.
  • Recognise & maximise any sales opportunities that may arise.
  • To always be fully conversant with IT facilities.
  • To develop customer relationships
