We are currently recruiting Production Operatives and Warehouse Operatives to join a manufacturing company based in the Chepstow area.

Our client is a busy aluminium supplier. As such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. This role requires a high level of attention, accuracy and a previous working history in this role is desirable.

Start Date: ASAP

Shifts: 6am-2pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6am - 12pm

2pm-11pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 2pm - 6pm

Pay rate:£11.50

Responsibilities and Activities:

Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
To carry out maintenance and cleaning of equipment when required.
Fault find and report any defects or problems
Contributing to daily targets
To carry out all quality control checks as required.
To ensure the production area is kept in a clean operative state.
To provide cover in other areas of production when required.
Ensure that the Health & Safety requirements of the Company are met at all times.
Identifying any potential safety issues.
Any other duties that may be required.

Person Specification:

Good team worker
Pro-active
Good communication skills
Machine setting experience
CNC experience (desirable but not essential)

General Duties:

To understand and ensure the Health and Safety requirements of the Company are met at all times and reporting any potential safety issues to the relevant personnel.
To ensure that all activities are operated in accordance with Equal Opportunities legislation, and Best Practice.
