Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience working in catering and nursing home kitchen is preferable to meet high standards, but not essential

Responsibilities

Prepare food for residents

Help assist with evening snacks

Dishing up suppers

Promote high standards

Ensure that the kitchen is always kept clean

To complete jobs that the chef has asked you to do

To be able to work well with in a team as well as on your own

Good listening and speaking skills

Good communication skills

Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic

Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
