Location:Chepstow, UK

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 17:30 PM

We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team at our Chepstowsite. As a Transport Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our transport operation and contribute to the continued success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compilation of Weekly Accounts:You will be responsible for compiling all weekly accounts, including the accurate uploading of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents onto our system.
  • Weekly Transport Data:You will compile and manage weekly transport data, ensuring it is up-to-date and organised.
  • Driver Pre-Briefing and Debriefing:Work in conjunction with our debrief system to pre-brief and debrief drivers, ensuring that all paperwork is completed and signed accurately.
  • Driver Hours Management:Assist in the management and recording of driver hours using Mandata and Samsara systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Driver Communication:Regularly monitor, liaise, and communicate with our team of drivers, promptly updating the traffic manager on any issues or developments.
  • Customer Care:Deliver excellent customer care, managing our clients' expectations effectively, and maintaining a positive rapport with them.

Key Skills:

  • Accounts experience, with Mandata experience being beneficial.
  • Previous experience working in a transport department.
  • Proficiency in IT, especially in Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and driven to excel.
  • Proactive problem-solving capability.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and meet targets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A team player who collaborates effectively.
