Performance Manager - Supply Chain Operations

Join a leading provider of professional services as a Performance Manager, specialising in Supply Chain Operations. This role is crucial in assisting approximately 20 facilities across the UK and Ireland to enhance their investment performance and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as a knowledge source for all facility supply chain matters, providing data and analysis to the wider business.
  • Challenge and assist facilities within your perimeter to enhance and achieve optimal results by measuring and benchmarking their operational and supply chain performance through KPI roll-out and regular consolidation.
  • Review and analyse facility flows and processes on-site to ensure management is maximized for return on investment, benchmarking best practices, and proposing performance improvement action plans to management.
  • Lead improvement projects to define and enhance facility operation management standards.
  • Develop capabilities at the facility level through coaching and training of key stakeholders, focusing on general managers and managers.
  • Co-responsible for defining annual performance ambitions with a budget base of approximately £30 to £40 million.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of professional experience focused on performance improvement, analytics, and change management within supply chain.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with all levels of seniority to achieve performance improvement through structured approaches, including at the shopfloor level.
  • Excellent numerical skills with the ability to analyse and draw meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Experience within a multi-site environment, either in support functions like Supply Chain and Methods, or directly managing teams.
  • Strong track record of successful project management.
  • Strong academic background, with a master’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant settings.
