Our client is a leading national FMCG business, well established and reputable within their sector. They successfully supply a diverse range of customer’s daily, so this Transport Manager role will be a varied and fast paced role!
The role:
As Transport Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the operations, compliance and most importantly, people.Â
You will:
- Coaching the team to reach their full potential
- Communicating openly and consistently, delivering key messages to the team at the right time
- Managing recruitment, absence, performance conduct safety and service
- Responsible for managing commercial vehicles, cages and pallets
- PPE, vehicle checks CV servicing MOT’s, VOR’s, temperature checks and near misses
- Allocating work considering individual/team capability and legal driving hours to achieve targets
- Carrying out good quality investigations
- Always promoting and managing all safety
The successful candidate will:
Have a successful track record as Transport Manager, fully knowledgeable with legislation and compliance. CPC is advantageous.Â
