Chartered Engineer

Acorn by Synergie is working with a bespoke client in Chepstow who is seeking an experience Engineer to join their busy and growing team as a Chartered Engineer.

Responsibilities:

* Manage teams of engineers and technicians to achieve set goals and targets.

* Identify any training needs to promote the development of other staff members.

* Liaise with Clients on a regular basis via email, telephone and in-person visits.

* Prepare both basic and detailed designs for various projects.

* Posses a strong understanding of material costs and structural intergrity.

Key requirements:

* Minimum 10 years experience as a CAD Technician within the Bridge Industry.

* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Knowledge of Network Rail Standards and Processes is desired.

* Excellent understanding ofstructural behaviours.

* Variety of tried and tested analytical methods.

* Portfolio that demonstrates varying projects using adifferent structural materials.

* Strong understanding of CDM regulations.
