We are currently recruiting for a perm role of a Warehouse Operator based in Chepstow

Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.

Contract: Perm

Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Salary: £23,920

To assist the team-leader, to coordinate the picking and packing of orders for both the production lines and customer orders. Contributing towards the smooth running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, check & pack orders ready for dispatch/production
Accurately and safely load and unload wagons/deliveries ensuing deliveries are physically checked and booked in
Accurately completing paperwork/records e.g. ensure that the Batch numbers of all outgoing and incoming goods are maintained for traceability, completing drop sheets, labelling of stock from the suppliers
Assisting with the cycling counting/stock take when required.
Practice good housekeeping to maintain the quality of materials and a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment

Forklift licence.
Knowledge of picking systems, despatch methods and couriers; and
Enthusiastic and flexible, with a can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure.
