We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Pipe Welder to join our client for a contract-based role in our workshop located in Chepstow. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder to work on a range of pipe sizes and materials under ASME IX standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipe fabrication and welding to high standards
- TIG & MMA welding
- TIG & Flux Core welding
- Working with pipe diameters ranging from 1" to 36"
- Ensuring work meets P1 and P8 - ASME IX specifications
- Adhering to safety procedures and workshop best practices
- Potential for some site work
Requirements:
- Proven experience in pipe fabrication and welding
- Skilled in TIG, MMA, and Flux Core welding
- Ability to work with a variety of pipe sizes and materials
- Valid CCNSG, CSCS, or EUSR card
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to specification
Contract Details:
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- Rate: 30 per hour (Umbrella or CIS)
- Location: Workshop-based in Chepstow
