Job Overview:

Atlantis Medical is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital. This role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy care, supporting patients' rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions in an inpatient setting.

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to promote patient mobility and independence.

  • Conduct regular progress reviews and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

  • Educate patients, families, and carers on rehabilitation and self-management techniques.

  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with NHS standards and guidelines.

  • Assist in discharge planning to support a smooth transition for patients leaving the hospital.

Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.

  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience in an inpatient setting.

  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in rehabilitation, post-operative care, or general medical wards is desirable.
