Hours are 7.30am-4.00pm Monday to Friday 26-27k per annum
Production Operative
Our client is a market-leader in their field of manufacturing with a state-of-the-art facility in Chertsey and they are looking for a hard-working and reliable Production Operatives to join their team. As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of goods while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
Duties includes:
Production Line Operations
- Operating machinery and equipment according to company procedures.
- Assembling, packing, and labeling products in line with production schedules.
- Conducting quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Following health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.
Stock and Material Handling
- Monitoring stock levels and replenishing materials as required.
- Ensuring raw materials and finished goods are stored appropriately.
Team Collaboration
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding workflow and priorities.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Keeping workstations, machinery, and the production area clean and tidy.
- Performing basic maintenance tasks on equipment, where applicable.
Additional requirements
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict processes and procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Forklift or pallet truck experience (if applicable).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a production environment.
