Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu development with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring top-notch food quality and presentation.
- Supervise kitchen staff, maintaining efficient workflow and high hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders to minimize waste.
- Actively participate in cooking and preparation, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Train and develop junior kitchen staff, offering guidance on techniques and procedures.
- Ensure all dishes meet our high standards through regular quality checks on taste, presentation, and portion control.
Requirements:
- Experience of 2+ years of working in a similar high end environment.
- Experience cooking British cuisine ispreferablebut not required
- A full UK driving licence (there is no public transport to the site)
- A willingness to learn and engage with the team, conducive of a positive working environment
