Your new company:

Working as a credit controller, you will be joining an international business on a permanent basis. Your new role:

Working within a supportive team environment, you will take ownership of your own ledger accounts. Your duties will include:

  • Responsible for collecting overdue payments and effectively managing debtors.
  • Working with customers and internal departments to resolve invoice related queries and disputes.
  • Using the credit management system to log and track disputes.
  • Reconciling accounts.
  • Processing and raising credit notes as required.
  • Attending debt calls with senior management.
  • Aged debt reporting.
  • Building and maintaining excellent internal and external contacts.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous experience of working in a varied credit control position, where you will have managed your own ledger of debtors. You will have experience of dealing with complex customer accounts, and the high number of queries and disputes that are raised. This job will utilise your excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as you work closely with both customers and internal colleagues. For the reporting and reconciling aspects of the role, you will need to be strong in Excel (ideally lookups and pivots).
