Role: Electronics EngineerLocation: ChertseySalary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)Permanent, 37.5 hours per weekParkside Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer for a leading Defence Systems client based in Chertsey. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge defence projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronics solutions for defence systems
  • Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards (EMC, safety, RoHS)
  • Conduct system integration and fault-finding
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and BOMs
  • Collaborate with external test houses to meet MoD and European standards
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in electronics design (analog & digital)
  • Proficiency in ECAD tools (Cadence OrCAD is desirable)
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC clearance essential)
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
