Production Operative

Our client is a market-leader in their field of manufacturing with a state-of-the-art facility in Chertsey and they are looking for a hard-working and reliable Production Operatives to join their team. As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of goods while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Duties includes:

Production Line Operations

• Operating machinery and equipment according to company procedures.
• Assembling, packing, and labeling products in line with production schedules.
• Conducting quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Following health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.

Stock and Material Handling

• Monitoring stock levels and replenishing materials as required.
• Ensuring raw materials and finished goods are stored appropriately.

Team Collaboration

• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding workflow and priorities.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Keeping workstations, machinery, and the production area clean and tidy.
• Performing basic maintenance tasks on equipment, where applicable.

Additional requirements

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict processes and procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Forklift or pallet truck experience (if applicable).
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a production environment.
