OPR are currently looking to recruit a Production Operative for our client based in Chertsey.

Production operative duties includes :

  • Handle blending production of essential oils
  • Ensure that Hygiene and Quality policies are adhered at all times
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Attend weekly operations meetings and update wider operations team.
  • Being organized and tidy
  • Manage the servicing and maintenance of all production areas and equipment to a high standard.
  • Arranging the procurement of any consumables or equipment needed for production.
  • Manage the production budget and any other duties as required by management.
  • Create, maintain and execute the production schedule
  • Ideally with a BRC or ISO environment or Have knowledge about filtration (bag filter + lenticular filter)
  • Upkeep the health and safety policy and to provide health and safety training to new employees
  • To report back when changes to the production process can be made for ease of use.
  • Keeping production notice boards up to date.
  • Assist in production meetings with customers.

Additional requirements

  • Samples organisation
  • When assembly or other packing or hand filling is required to help and assist with this.
  • Assist on the production side of the audit.
  • Fire safety keep up to date and in order
