OPR are currently looking to recruit a Production Operative for our client based in Chertsey.
Production operative duties includes :
- Handle blending production of essential oils
- Ensure that Hygiene and Quality policies are adhered at all times
- Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times
- Attend weekly operations meetings and update wider operations team.
- Being organized and tidy
- Manage the servicing and maintenance of all production areas and equipment to a high standard.
- Arranging the procurement of any consumables or equipment needed for production.
- Manage the production budget and any other duties as required by management.
- Create, maintain and execute the production schedule
- Ideally with a BRC or ISO environment or Have knowledge about filtration (bag filter + lenticular filter)
- Upkeep the health and safety policy and to provide health and safety training to new employees
- To report back when changes to the production process can be made for ease of use.
- Keeping production notice boards up to date.
- Assist in production meetings with customers.
Additional requirements
- Samples organisation
- When assembly or other packing or hand filling is required to help and assist with this.
- Assist on the production side of the audit.
- Fire safety keep up to date and in order
