Our clients based in Chertsey are a busy expanding freight forwarder are looking for a new team member to join their busy friendly operations team
Duties would include
- Handling Import Shipments Air & Road from start to finish including custom procedures & Invoicing
- Looking after key accounts
- Ensuring all jobs are booked onto Box Top system
- Arrange collection from overseas via approved agents
- Laise with overseas agents to co-ordinate goods
- Advise on new shipments
- Keep customers updated on progress at all times
- Managing Pre Alerts and request clearance instructions
- Prep the entries and clear goods and arrange collection via haulier
- Process and co-ordinate Road Freight import entries
- Monitor Duty / VAT via GVMS systems Customs Clearance
- Clear out of bonds entries
- Ensure Duty and Taxes have been paid
- Ensure invoicing is up to date

Candidate Skills required
Minimum 3-4 years previous Air Import air experience required
Must be fully conversant with CDS Import Declarations
Good communication skills and Good time management skills
Monday - Friday 0800-1630hrs or 0900 -1700hrs
Salary up to 31k subject to experience
Company Benefits
20 days holiday accrue extra day per year up to 25 days max
