Samples / Logistics Coordinator

Our client is a market-leader in their field of manufacturing with a state-of-the-art facility in Chertsey. They are looking for a recent graduate who is keen to gain skills and knowledge in a fast paced and creative environment.

Duties includes:

  • Work on day-to-day evaluation of incoming and outgoing samples and goods in.
  • Learn how to perform physical testing.
  • Work on development projects and sales presentations.
  • Opportunity to participate in in-house presentations for visitors/customers.
  • Take part in sensory training. You will earn how to properly handle and evaluate natural products.
  • Correspond with logistics and sales team on the sample incoming, outgoing and organise the appropriate follow up.
  • Liaise with customers or sales people to informs of delays and work on practical solutions to fit the problem.

Additional requirements

  • Must have general computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisation skills, ability to be flexible and the ability to prioritise
  • Good team working skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple assignments as needed, and work efficiently
  • Basic laboratory skills a plus
  • A willingness to learn and to follow instructions
  • A genuine interest and passion for working with natural products
