Job Title: Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist - Trauma & Orthopaedics
Location: Hospital based in Chertsey
Contract: Maternity Cover (with potential for extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (this can be flexible), part-time also considered
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Trauma and Orthopaedic inpatient ward. The role will primarily involve discharge planning, acute patient management, and supporting the clinical development of junior staff and Therapy Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy support in an inpatient orthopaedic setting
- Assist with acute care management and discharge planning for trauma and orthopaedic patients
- Supervise and support junior staff and Therapy Assistants
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications & Experience:
- Band 6 or Band 7 (depending on experience)
- Experience in trauma and orthopaedics
Contract Type:
This is a maternity cover position, but it may be extended depending on the suitability of the candidate and the needs of the department.
