Milk Education are working with a school seeking a skilled and passionate Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join their dedicated team. As a key member of their team, you will work closely with students to provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic support for a variety of speech, language, and communication difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced therapist to make a significant impact in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs in students.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
Provide ongoing support and progress monitoring to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
Offer guidance and training to staff and parents on strategies to support communication development.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment where students feel confident and empowered to develop their communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (e.g., Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent).
HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Previous experience working with children or individuals with speech, language, and communication difficulties (experience in an educational or SEN setting is desirable).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
A compassionate and patient approach to working with children and young people.
