Junior Demand Planner

Opportunity to join a recognised brand who are looking for an individual to join them as a Junior Demand Planner. You'll be working with the retail operations and commercial teams to ensure stores have the right products and stock to maximise sales opportunities.

Duties:

  • Continuously improve the forecasting model to ensure it is always relevant
  • Gather market insights from relevant parties to support the forecasting model
  • Attend trading meetings with internal/external clients
  • Analysis of forecast accuracy and constantly improving the model for the future
  • Management of various products categories for the concession stores
  • Build demand forecasts, both short and long term across assigned product ranges
  • Monitor and analyse forecasts in conjunction with factories, retail sales & marketing and product divisions
  • Providing store sales forecasts to relevant purchasing teams to ensure sufficient stocks are procured for the stores
  • Management of various products categories for the concession stores
  • Building good relationship with supply chain teams to ensure the allocation of stock is aligned to the forecast
  • During peak trading periods or unexpected out of stock situations, negotiate with supply chain teams to bring forward future demand or obtain additional stock from other channels.

This role is being offered initially on a twelve-month fixed term contract and is coupled with a salary of 40K to 45K, 15% annual bonus as well as health & dental benefits.
