The role involves receiving goods from suppliers, checking them for damage, and storing them appropriately. The Store Person will also track the movement of goods and handle all relevant paperwork related to receiving and dispatching stock.Key Responsibilities:
  • Unloading goods upon arrival.
  • Receiving and scanning goods, verifying them against orders.
  • Inspecting items for any damage.
  • Organizing and moving goods within the store.
  • Stocking shelves and ensuring heavy goods are stacked safely.
  • Picking items from shelves and accurately recording their movement.
  • Packing and dispatching orders to customers.
  • Operating a forklift to move heavy pallets and goods.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a storeroom environment, including picking and packing.
  • Proficiency in using computers and strong communication skills to liaise with internal project managers.
  • Physically fit, comfortable with lifting, bending, and other manual handling tasks.
