Prospero Teaching are seeking a Physical Education Teacher to join Ofsted Good, Christian mixed secondary school located in Chesham starting September 2024.
The Headteacher welcomes ECTS to apply to this Physical Education teaching post, as an ECT you will be joining an award-winning school, and the PHYSICAL EDUCATION department teaches between KS3 to KS5. Students will learn a whole host of sports and deep dive into at GCSE Physical Education - Netball, Dance, Gymnastics, Football, Athletics, Health, Fitness and Wellbeing, Sports Psychology, Extracurricular clubs Badminton, Athletics, and Trampolining.
This is a warm, welcoming, inclusive teaching and learning environment steeped in history and is a fantastic place to teach.
THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHING JOB:
Physical Education teaching role
Full-time
Teaching Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 and possibly key stage 5
This is a mainstream, Ofsted Good secondary school
Solid, well resourced, Physical Education department
Full time (5 days a week) teaching position including planning and marking.
Parking is available on-site and the school is well-served by public transport

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER WILL BE
Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent
A team player, able to lead and inspire colleagues and pupils alike.
Someone who can manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons in line with the needs of the students
You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
