Immediate Start - Accounts Assistant

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a short-term opportunity wto start immidatly? Think Accountnacy & Finance are looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to hit the ground running to support our clients finance team.

This role is based in Chesham, offers an immediate start, and is expected to last a minimum of 2 weeks-perfect for someone between roles or looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • 60% Sales Ledger | 30% Purchase Ledger | 10% Ad-hoc tasks
  • Allocating daily cash and checking aged debtor reports
  • Sending statements & chasing outstanding payments
  • Processing supplier invoices and reviewing expense claims
  • Keeping finance email inboxes up to date
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day tasks
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in an accounts role
  • Confident using Sage 200 for both customer and supplier ledgers
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIF)
  • Detail-oriented and able to work to tight deadlines
  • A great team player with a proactive attitude
The Details:
  • Location: Office-based in Chesham
  • Duration: Minimum 2 weeks (with potential to extend)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Start Date:Immediate
