Immediate Start - Accounts Assistant
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a short-term opportunity wto start immidatly? Think Accountnacy & Finance are looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to hit the ground running to support our clients finance team.
This role is based in Chesham, offers an immediate start, and is expected to last a minimum of 2 weeks-perfect for someone between roles or looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing:- 60% Sales Ledger | 30% Purchase Ledger | 10% Ad-hoc tasks
- Allocating daily cash and checking aged debtor reports
- Sending statements & chasing outstanding payments
- Processing supplier invoices and reviewing expense claims
- Keeping finance email inboxes up to date
- Supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day tasks
- Experience in an accounts role
- Confident using Sage 200 for both customer and supplier ledgers
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIF)
- Detail-oriented and able to work to tight deadlines
- A great team player with a proactive attitude
- Location: Office-based in Chesham
- Duration: Minimum 2 weeks (with potential to extend)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Start Date:Immediate
