Hours: 42 available, Days/Nights - includes alternate weekends
Salary: £15.00 per hour

Toni at Amber Mace is delighted to be working on behalf of an award winning care provider who are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join their team at a luxury purpose built care home in Chesham. You will support the management team by running the floor and leading a team of care assistants in continuing to provide excellent first rate care to the homes elderly residents some who may be suffering from dementia or physical disabilities to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met.


To be considered for the role of Senior Care Assistant, you must have the following experience:

• At least 1 year’s Senior Care Assistant experience - leading a team
• Experience in Administration of medication
• Level 3 NVQ or above in Health and Social Care - Preferred
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Experience with elderly/dementia residents
• Experience within a Care Home setting


Role requirements for the Senior Care Assistant:
• Supporting and supervising the team
• Training and development
• Developing therapeutic or beneficial relationships with residents/colleagues
• Delivering high standards of person-centred care
• Attend regular meetings
• Help maintain cleanliness and tidiness of home
• Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in implementing personalised care plans, and reviewing and monitoring these on a regular basis
