Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Dorking, Surrey | Part-Time (3 Days per Week)

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with detailed store-by-store analysis.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, maintain fixed asset registers, and oversee supplier ledgers.
  • Take ownership of payroll preparation and liaise with HMRC to ensure compliance.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for store managers, handling finance queries with ease.
  • Collaborate on budgeting, audit preparation, and tax compliance alongside senior stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure robust financial systems are in place.

What we're looking for:

  • Part-qualified accountant(CIMA preferred) with hands-on management accounting experience.
  • A clear, confident communicator who can engage with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • High level of business acumen and a solid understanding of financial management principles.
